A ntichello makes mainly Veronese wines. Enjoyable wines, fresh, easy-drinking, that can be paired with Italian dishes, suitable for many occasions. The name is simple, cheerful and light and it evokes tradition and familiarity.

In 2015 my image was redesigned, thus I, Antichello, was born, a fantasy character. I resemble to those characters of XIX century and early XX century’s children literature..

I am a naughty and witty boy, a sort of elf with David Copperfield's looks and the nature of a rascal, living in the wonderland of Lewis Carrol's Alice. I live in an ideal past, a remote and magical land; I live in a wonderful estate, surrounded by nature, where there are classical elements, ancient details, funny animals and otherworldly objects. Like Peter Pan, I am a timeless character, in a dimension of eternal youth.

In my fantastic world there are pleasant, convivial and intense wines. Each of my wine has its history; each label, rich with features, describes its origins, its qualities and suggests the pairings.

Wine thus becomes part of a magical performance. Imagine that everything that happens in my cellar, from fermentation to aging to bottling, reflects the scenery of my fantasy world. The cellar is the setting where the natural expression of a territory, the features of the grapes and the expert hand of the winemaker meet, and each vintage works a different magic. Once we will be charmed by the wine's elegance, another time by its harmony and distinctiveness. Another time by its simplicity and delicacy.

The chief character will always be time, the waiting, the ripening that we wait for in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the aging in wood or steel, while the vintner will just seem to add a final touch to the composition, like the touch of my magical stick.
